The Program allows students to develop the knowledge and skills they require to become leaders in the planning field and to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving urban environment.

The School maintains formal connections with all levels of government as well as crown corporations through its close affiliation with the National Executive Forum on Public Property, founded by Queen's University Forum. The Forum is a non-profit organization that brings senior executives of public land holding agencies together, for the purposes of sharing experiences and advancing the art of land management.
