Some special-purpose bodies, such as Ontario’s Social Housing Services Corporation, have research programs. The provincial government’s Social Housing Services Corporation was created to manage specific responsibilities emerging from the transfer of social housing administration to the local level. It has recently established a research program targeting topics of particular interest to its members.
