In universities across Canada, the next-generation research community—today’s student researchers at the Masters or Doctoral level—are taking on housing-related topics for their theses. A variety of initiatives have been launched recently to build on this interest, encouraging students to pursue studies and research in the field of housing and related subjects through incentives such as CMHC’s Housing Studies Achievement Award (HSAA) and CPRN’s Internship Program.
