Toronto Public Library – Urban Affairs Library
Urban Affairs is a collection of the Toronto Reference Library. While international in scope, the collection emphasizes 20th century coverage of Canadian material, with in-depth coverage of the Toronto area. Spanning several disciplines and media, it contains more than 90,000 books and government documents, 300 current magazine titles and 195,000 microforms. You'll also find maps, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, videocassettes, community newspapers, online databases and CD-ROM products. Special collections include campaign literature and the Corporate Collection, which may be used by public for in-library use only. The library offers a Corporate Research Service for City of Toronto staff; as well as self study materials.

There is a basic and advanced search option. In both, you can restrict your search to just the Urban Affairs collection. In the basic search, you can search by keyword or title or author; while in the advanced search, you can search by author, title, subject, series, and restrict by date, language, format, etc.
