Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)
Library
The NRCan library was formed in December 2006 as a result of the amalgamation of all of the Natural Resources Canada sector libraries across Canada. There are 13 libraries from coast to coast with five in the Ottawa area. The NRCan Library supports the mission of Natural Resources Canada through timely access to information. Through the use of technologies, partnerships, and staff expertise, the library provides comprehensive reference services to its clients, while developing and preserving information collections relevant to the sustainable development of Canada's mineral, forest and energy resources, and land mass. The library is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
