This electronic repository explains the different housing aid and renovation programs that are available to citizens on the Island of Montreal under the link “financial assistance”. The site includes a marketing component (“A life near everything”) aimed at encouraging families to move to Montreal. Financial aid towards buying a house is also explained.

Under the “housing search” link, visitors will find guidance in how to find suitable housing. There is also an interactive map for finding seniors’ housing.

Under the section “Orientations and research” one can find various housing reports that deal with municipal housing strategy, the housing stock, housing markets, household demographics, social housing as well as affordable housing.
