Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada (CHF)
Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada (CHF)
Founded in 1968, CHF Canada is the nation-wide umbrella organization for co-op housing and Canada’s link with co-op housing around the world. It exists to unite, represent and serve the co-op housing community across Canada. CHF Canada works actively for the growth, stability and independence of the co-operative housing movement in Canada. As part of the larger co-operative movement, it promotes the practice of co-operation in Canada and abroad.
Membership includes housing co-ops, federations of housing co-operatives, associations of co-op housing staff, co-op management companies, and sponsoring organizations. CHF Canada offers a range of services and benefits to its members, including representation, advice, education, support and information.
