Canadian Standards Association (CSA) – Construction Program

Canadian Standards Association (CSA) – Construction Program

The Canadian Standards Association is Canada’s leading developer of standards and related publications in the field of construction. It is a not-for-profit membership-based association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace. CSA has developed approximately 300 construction standards, which serve the needs of residential, commercial, institutional, industrial and civil infrastructure sectors. It manages 120 Technical Committees, whose members develop and maintain Construction Standards. Each standard undergoes a rigorous review by a committee of industry experts, user representatives and regulators. Many are mandated through direct or indirect reference in legislation, and others are widely used in contract specifications.
