Established in 1968, the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the social housing sector. CHRA´s mission is to ensure that Canada has decent affordable housing for all. CHRA´s key activities include:

• The creation and dissemination of affordable housing research;
• Advocacy for improved housing policies and programs;
• Enhancing the affordable housing sector’s development capacity;
• Keeping the affordable housing sector connected.
