The NHRC Spring 2012 Housing Data Working Group meeting was held on Monday morning, April 23, 2012 at the Château Cartier Hotel, 1170 Aylmer Road in Gatineau.

Co-chairs Willa Rea of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Robert Gagnon of Société d'habitation du Québec (SHQ) opened the meeting. Shauna Wouters of Saskatchewan Ministry of Social Services presented their Small Markets Rental Accommodation Survey. This was followed by a presentation by François Rivest of SHQ, who explored the organization's work on health characteristics of residents of social housing in Québec. This was followed by a short demonstration of CMHC's new interactive local housing data tables. The next presenter was Marta Burczycka of Statistics Canada, who presented recent research data from the Transition Home Survey. Then, Diana Petramala from TD Bank Financial Group explored Canada's aging household debt burden.
