Fall 2009 NHRC Full Committee Meeting
The Full Committee of the Fall 2009 National Housing Research Committee was held on November 4th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ottawa.
The National Housing Research Committee meeting continues to be Canada’s premier venue for presenting our nation’s most recent housing research and provides a great networking opportunity for housing researchers and policy makers.
The Full Committee Co-Chairs Michael Buda of Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and Steve Mennill of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) opened the meeting.
Mr. Ramin Seifi of the Township of Langley, British Columbia, made a presentation on the housing development and planning in the Township of Langley. Afterwards, Ms. Evelyn Peters of the University of Saskatchewan presented its housing related research and initiatives.
