SPRING 2010 HOUSING DATA WORKING GROUP MEETING
The NHRC's Housing Data Working Group meeting was held April 26th, 2010 at the Loews Hotel Vogue in Montreal.
Meeting Description
Co-Chairs François Pagé of Statistics Canada and Candace Fedoruk of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) opened the meeting. Ernie Stokes of the Centre for Spatial Economics and Bob Collins of the Construction Sector Council lead off with their presentation on 2010 Construction Looking Forward: Forecast Scenario. This was followed by a presentation on CMHC Survey Data by Pierre Lanciault, Manager of CMHC's Housing Market Surveys. Then, Professor Georges Tanguay of l’Université du Québec à Montréal provided a presentation on a meta-analysis of 17 studies using Sustainable Development Indicators in urban settings.
