SPRING 2010 FULL COMMITTEE MEETING
The NHRC Full Committee Meeting was held April 28th, 2010 in Montreal. Attendance at this meeting was by invitation only.
The Co-chairs, Michael Buda of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and Steve Mennill of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, opened the meeting. Updates from the provincial and territorial members started the round table. Then, the municipal representatives presented their updates as well as CMHC's Directors who provided an update on current and completed research.
This year, the rotating academic representative was Dr. Paul Fazio, Professor, Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering, from Concordia University, and the rotating municipal representative was Mr. Henry Kamphof, Senior Manager, Housing Secretariat, from the Capital Regional District (CRD) of British Columbia.
